Arsenal hammered Porto in the Champions League tonight 5-0 (6-2 on aggregate) and progressed through to the final eight. Nicklas Bendtner was widely responsible for the rout, scoring a hat-trick amongst Arsenal’s 5 goal feast.

Elsewhere, Fiorentina were knocked out of the competition despite winning 3-2 vs. Bayern Munich (4-4 on aggregate). The match marked 18 in 19 away games where Bayern have scored.

Wednesday the action continues as Real Madrid take on Lyon at the Santiago Bernabéu and Manchester United sees the grand return of David Beckham with AC Milan at Old Trafford.
