Fabio Capello is believed to be selecting a younger squad for England’s friendly vs. Hungary this Wednesday at Wembley Stadium. The omission of several players from England’s U-21 roster for their friendly vs. Uzbekistan on Tuesday suggests they may get the call to senior action.

The move comes after Capello vowed to build a new England squad with younger players after the current crop of England internationals failed to perform at the 2010 World Cup. It is also expected, however, that Capello will stick with many of the current England players in his line-up for Hungary.

The roster could include players as young as 18 if midfielder Jack Wilshere is called up.
