An unnamed source revealed to ESPN that Avram Grant has been offered the manager’s position at Portsmouth, and if he accepts will likely be named as soon as Thursday. According to the source Grant took Wednesday to consider the move.

There remains a technicality with Grant’s work permit, which has yet to arrive and is drafted for a director of football position. Meanwhile, recently released manager Paul Hart has been invited to remain at the club in a director’s position for the 18-21 age bracket.
