Big Sam targetting £3m Man City flop

Sam Allardyce is set to launch a £3million raid for Manchester City defender Tal Ben Haim, if reports in the Mirror are to be believed.

The Israeli, who will be allowed to leave Eastlands in January, has failed to settle at the club since his £5m switch from Chelsea last summer.

Ben-Haim, was, in my opinion, a panic buy by Hughes when he wasn’t sure how much money was available.

He has been in and out of the side, but it seemed that Hughes finally gave up on him against West Bromwich Albion when fellow defender Nedum Onuoha was preferred on the bench.
