The Carlos Tevez vs. Manchester City saga continues unabated today, as now-Championship side West Ham United has made a bid to take Tevez back to Upton Park on loan. Manchester City has rejected the offer. Read more.

It wasn’t all unsuccessful for the Irons, however. They managed to bag Manuel Almunia on loan from Arsenal since he has fallen out of favor at the north London club. More here.

Donuts No Laughing Matter…

Manchester United’s David de Gea recently ate a Krispy Kreme donut in a local shop, then attempted to leave without paying for it. He was tackled by security and has received a warning. Hey, cut the lad a break, he’s only making £70,000-a-week but apparently decided that he a week – and Krispy Kreme weigh in at a whopping £1.19 a piece! More here.
