Brazilian striker Jo’s tumultuous Premier League career may soon be put on pause, as transfer rumors place him in the midst of a potential journey back to CKSA Moscow this month. Jo drew an impressive transfer fee into the league, with Manchester City paying £18 million to bring him from Moscow – only to loan him to Everton six months later. The final straw for Everton manager David Moyes seems to have come recently when Jo left England and flew to Brazil without receiving the club’s approval, leaving Everton in a lurch during a time when they’re short on players. He is now suspended as a disciplinary measure. After netting only six goals in league play, his price tag’s dropped substantially. £11 million is all that’s being asked of Moscow for his return trip.
