According to the Mirror, Juventus director Alessio Secco is in London planning a raid for Tottenham midfielder Luca Modric.
The Bianconeri transfer chief has been scouring the Premier League as he looks for a January bargain.
Tuttosport claims Juve are keen on Spurs dynamo Modric and a player plus cash exchange deal with Vincenzo Iaquinta seems on the cards.
The former Udinese hit-man has been on the bench for most of the season and he is getting fed up. The Old Lady will use him as bait to try and convince Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp to accept a deal.
Reports suggest the former Portsmouth coach is a keen admirer of Iaquinta and, to give some weight to a possible deal, Tottenham are after a decent hit-man as scoring has never been the same since the departures of Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov in the summer.
Sources close to the Italian paper have revealed Modric wants out and has hinted that he would like to play in Serie A. Tottenham paid around €20 million for the former Dinamo Zagreb man but Juve are looking to send Iaquinta to White Hart Lane and top that up with some money just to keep Spurs happy.
A deal is expected in January as Secco continues his tour of London.

Rubbish- do you get paid to write such rubbish?????
Who cares? These teams and players are small time.
Poppycock, fabricated lazy journalism, Harry Redknapp has already stated that he wants to build a team around Modric.
