The Sun states that reports in Spain suggest Liverpool outcast Jermaine Pennant is set for a sensational switch to Real Madrid.
The 25-year-old has made just four appearances for Rafa Benitez’s side this season.
But new Real boss Juande Ramos is keen to sign a right winger and the Spanish giants are understood to have made a bid of around £3million.
Pennant has failed to make any real impact at Anfield since signing from Birmingham for £6.7m in July 2006.
He is out of contract in the summer and the Reds appear keen to cash in before losing him for nothing.
I feel that this is a good deal for both the player and the club, as Pennant seems to be out of favour at Anfield, and Liverpool wouldn’t mind cashing in on him before his contract expires.
What do you think ?

A wicked take on this – maybe, just maybe Madrid want him to get an insight into the way Rafa prepares for big European games so they can counter that come the champions league. Madrid can get dirty, and they might be, considering the fact that they’d make West Brom look like a firing squad.
Lol, that’s what I’d call looking at things from an entirely different perspective
