Fabio Capello observed as David Beckham played a solid role in AC Milan’s 5-2 win over Genoa this weekend. With an opportunity to score in the first half and the creation of two scoring chances for Borriello, Beckham’s impact was immediately felt. Beckham had not expected to place in Milan’s starting 11, but injuries in the team over the week forced Milan to use the freshly-arrived midfielder.
