Inter Milan were crowned champions of Serie A today, marking their fifth consecutive Scudetto. Inter’s Diego Milito scored in the 57th minute to give his club their 1-0 win over Siena. “This is the most important goal of my career. We are happy, we deserved this,” Milito said.

Inter finished 2 points ahead of fierce title contenders Roma.

With 2 titles with Inter Milan under his belt, speculation is now rife about manager Jose Mourinho’s future. Earlier in the week the Portugese “Special One” revealed his interest in coaching Real Madrid – “sooner or later” – but later stated his full focus was on winning the Serie A this season, not fanning the flames of career rumors.
